Bored romance

Washington sat in his big office. He was bored out of his mind and nothing seemed to be able to fix his damn boredom. He tapped his feet, picked up his old guitar and even went skeet shooting. Nothing. As the long day wore on he found himself looking at ways to contact people. Someone. Anyone, who may provide him with some entertainment. Even the tv and computer had gotten boring. He swiveled in his chair and drummed his fingers again as he waited for the stupid text from a random person in his contacts, who? He just picked a random one.

Arizona rolls her eyes, wanting to blast someone in the face. Hunting with her tribes was hard work, and also very angering. Complaints, complaints, complaints. All the humans could do was complain. Her cold gaze rests on a coyote who glanced her way. It cowered and scampered away. She wasn't in to all of this tech stuff but the only things she loved the most where her AC and her cell-phone. What could she say if she were in the middle of a death fight in the desert and couldn't get to anyone hmm? She unlocks the screen on her phone and sits down on a pueblo roof in which she called her home. She didn't mind the sun blazing down on her as she was accustomed to it even though it burned her quite a few times. She looks through her contacts and decides to nag DC. She sends a single text for the moment reading: Have you gotten into trouble lately idiot?

DC was taken back by that message,
-"what makes you think I'm always getting into trouble I'm not THAT bad of a person you're just a fuckig ass hat"
He didnt always mean to be mean but, ugh, he was so bored that all that he could think of was another way to hurt and insult people like always.
-"just come over I'm bored"

Arizona sighs. She replies: You're doing it again. I will come over if you wish. Please don't start a fight again please. Thank you.

She gets up and goes downstairs, grabbing her bag and jogging out of the reservation. She came to the road and followed it down to a city off of the reservation, asking a human who was driving by if she could get a ride to the airport. She sits and waits a little before being dropped off. Not all humans are bad in her eyes, they just complain too damn much. She goes up to the table and pays to catch a flight. She pauses for a second and goes to text him again saying: I'm on my way idiot.

-"shut up! Idiots are not this good looking!" He responded and put his feet on his fest and crossed his ankles.
-"anyways you should learn to appreciate me more sice I am our nations Capital after all" he felt satisfied with that and leaned back in his chair, "I should get a recliner" he said to himself.

"You may be the nation's capital but that doesn't earn you my respect. That, and that is my new nickname for you, Idiot. " she replied

Arizona hears the plane she was taking be called and she gathered her things and rushed in to go catch it. Ariz sits down, being prepared for the worst. She had to wait about half an hour so she had to be patient.

" Ma'am what is your boss-" A human begins.
"Shut up! " She yells in reply. So annoying..

She sinks back into her seat and sends him another text saying: It will be a while but deal with it. I never said I'd be there in three minutes. You better be at the airport when I get there or I'll go back to Mesa.

-"well fine..." He sighed and sent her the text.
-"just know I'm NOT cleaning up my house for you because you are no different than a brainless girl like anyother in this nation"
He looked around the messy room and smiled and then looked out the window at the spring afternoon.

-Don't worry. I'll clean it for you. I won't really care. I'm letting you slide for calling me brainless this ONE time alright? But next time I will knock you the fuck out.

She had an evil smile on her face. They only let her bring her gun with her in her bag because she was the state in which held the entire airport together in their minds. If she wanted to she would wreck every structure down by order but she wasn't like that.

" Why must he be so difficult.. " She sighs.

DC rolled his eyes.
-"whatever just hurry up okay" he watched his foot twitch. He placed his phone on his desk and puffed out his cheeks, "SOOO bored!" He said and spun in his chair, "God there is nothing to do around here!"

-I can't control the plane's speeds but I can try to get the flight attendant to have the ride hurry up.

She shakes her head and sighs. This was going to be a while. She looks over to the person next to her and is greeted by an idiotic smile.

" Please leave me be.. " She mumbles and is replied to by a nod.

She sits and looks out the window, being by the window seat since she was more than likely going to do nothing but occasionally text here and there to pass time.

He would lazily reply and then around an hour later he left to go to the airport and pick up his sister. He sat in a plastic chair in the baggage claim, "meh it's hot" he slumped in his chair and spread his legs. "Hurry up AZ" he groaned and sat up like there was an invisible parent nagging him to sit up straight. He watched as people got off their flights and he listened to the person talk in that perfect and call annoying ass voice over the intercom.

Arizona makes her way out of the airplane with her things and her phone in hand. She looks around a little and spots DC. Her blank face darkens a little, but it wasn't like it was natural for her to smile anyway. She would smile just a little if it wasn't for her constant need to yell.

" Hey DC.. Did you know- Never mind. " She sighs, not really needing to finish the sentence since it would be no use to do so.

She walks up and sits in the chair next to him, bag in hand. She shuts off her cell and slides it into her pocket. She could handle the heat since she lived in a desert. At least it wasn't flagstaff cold there at the moment.

"It's ducking hot" he groaned and leaned on her, "why is it so fucking hit all the damn time?" He groaned he didnt even have the energy to yell like he normally did, "it's barely summer yet, it's spring, damn global warming and all the shit it gives us" he sighed, "now lets go my house is air conditioned and I need salvation"

He stood up and lazily walked to his blak mustang and unlocked it and sat on the cold leather seats, "ah salvation" he smiled in complete bliss.

" I think it feels just fine. I guess it's just me.." She says with a sigh.

Carefully Ariz stands up and follows DC out to his car. She opened the door and sat down inside. She took her backpack off to set it at her feet but then needed to fix her shirt since it kept sliding off her shoulder.

" So what are we to be doing now I'm here? " She asks with a slight tone of curiosity.

She folds her hands onto her mostly bare lap, ( thanks to her shorts ) and puffs out one of her cheeks. She hadn't really thought about thinking of something to do while on the plane. She was distracted by the clouds and the quiet chatting of the people around her.

"Hmmm...lets see any of my ideas would mean you would either you being a hot chick in any sence which you are not. Or you being about thirteen SOOO..." He crossed his arms and started his car then put one hand on the when and othe other drapped over the side of the car as he drove back to his house.

" I'd rather be smart than hot anyway ya nitwit. " She replies in her same monotone voice she always uses.

She looked boredly out the window, just zoning out for a little. She hadn't really been out of her state as much as you'd think, so to her this was just a little new. She usually stayed out of DC's way but today was going to be actually eventful for her. She got to at least do something different instead of staying atop of her house all day and getting sunburns for the Indians to help her tend to on a daily basis.

" I think I have an idea.. It may not be very good but at least it's something. We can watch a movie or something. " She suggests, not prying her eyes away from the window once.

"Know any good movies?" He asked driving to a large house a little ways away from the whitehouse, "we could go to my summer house that would be more fun" he suggested as her circled the property a bit, just ideling time until he got an answer.

" Sure, why not.. Have you ever watched scary movie? " She asks. She liked the silliest of movies to see if they would make her smile the slightest bit. When she finds the movie that does so she watches it a couple times to just experience the feeling of joy for a while. She took her eyes away from the window and glanced at DC for a second before looking back out the window again.

"Well hmm I'm contemplating that question" he said and then drove again and drove to a large house that was only accessible through a bridge. He smiled when he parked next to the large white painted house with a brown roof and blue shutters and a portch wrapping around the emoter thing, "welcome home" he said to himself as he parked next to a large tree. He got out of the car and stretched, he then opened her door for her and helped her out.

"Well lets go" he said and walked inside lacing his fingers behind his head. "Have fun Kay" he said as he turned and opened the large oak doors walking across marble flooring and into a large carpeted living room with a large couch and flat screen tv he plopped down on the largely cushioned couch and sighed, "like a villa, or sorority house just with no girls...."

Arizona covers her mouth in attempt to let out a small giggle, failing miserably. She got out of the car and followed DC.

" Why so polite all of a sudden? It took me a while to recover from being startled by that. But it's quite nice we aren't arguing for at least a little amount of time.. " She says in a soft tone, slight emotion surfacing in her words.

She goes over and sits next to him, setting her bag at her feet and folding her hands onto her lap. She was loosening up a little and calming her usually untamed monster within.

DC looked over at her, "well this is MY summer home I CAN show curticy can't I?" He huffed and lazily crossed his legs. He was still bored, he turned the tv on and it went to the main and most played channel. It was porn. He quickly changed it, "I don know how that got there" he said and went to another pointless station, he didnt really care as long as they swore he was fine with whatever show it was.

After a while of watching tv he got up, stretched, then said, "wanna go swimming, after ll he are surrounded by water" he suggested and walked up large stairs.

" Of course you can DC. I wasn't saying you couldn't. I like the slight change anyway. " She says, not noticing the t.v. being switched on.

She was to busy looking at her feet to take any notice of it.

" Hmm? Go swimming? Sure. Why not? " She says in her usual voice.

She picks up her bag, looking around inside for some things she had brought. She did bring her swimsuit but wasn't going to get it out just yet. She got her bag and looked at DC as he went up the stairs.

" Where can I change? " She asks with little to no emotion at all.

"Bathroom, guest room, I honestly don't care" he said turning and walking into a room with two huge doors, a little sign on the side said, 'my room no entry unless you are cleaning it, allowed in, or me' he shut the door and began to change. He was in a pickle. He could either be himself and try what ever he could to try and get that bathing shit off of her...or he could not be himself and just loaf around like he usually did.

She sighed and nodded, going off to find the bathroom in which she had found in very little time. She opened up her backpack and took out her bikini that was the same murky green as her shorts. She stepped inside and locked the door behind her. She sighed and began to change, putting on her swimsuit and a loose grey top like the one she usually wore but a little lighter. She shoved her other clothing into the bag and stepped out of the bathroom.

Her mind was swirling with questions like why he had really wanted her to come over all the way from Mesa, Arizona. She facepalmed and shook her head. No. Don't even ask.. She just put the thought aside and went to set her backpack down, thinking of weather to go along with this entire thing or be herself and ask her " idiot " what was up. Slight distress was in her bright green eyes.

He opened one of the large doors and stepped out holding two rolled up towels. He was in nothing but plain old camo swim trunks. He was insanely muscular though he didnt show it through his grey hoodie and jeans or cargo pants. He still wore his military dog tags and they jingled as he walked up to her and handed her a towel, "here" he said and a devious smile crept across his face as he looked at her.
